Located in south eastern Missouri, the St. Francis River is Missouri's premier whitewater river (in fact it's the only one!!). We'll camp at the state campground near Turkey Creek. Bring your own camping gear or use some of ours. Or stay in nearby Fredricktown or Ironton.
Join us for 1 to 4 days of instruction and campfire fellowship. Learn the basics of whitewater canoeing or test and improve the skills you already have. We have American Canoe Association certified instructors for whitewater canoeing.
Kayakers are welcome with the understanding that we do not teach kayaking. Kayakers will not be allowed to run Cat's Paw unless they have a solid roll.
Please bring your own boat. However, if you do not have one, we have a few we can loan you including solo boats (H2Pro, Mad River Flashback) and Synergy tandem boats.
We provide meals (unless you have dietary needs we cannot accomodate). Feel free to bring snacks for yourself and/or the group.
